The latest instalment in Jasmine's 'IN SESSION' series focuses on WAYNE BENNETT, who earned a huge reputation for his jazz-tinged, blues guitar work with Bobby 'Blue' Bland during the 1950s and 60s. He was active as a sideman/accompanist from 1950 until his death from heart failure in 1992 at the age of fifty-nine. This collection features Wayne recording with some of the biggest names in blues as well as some interesting obscurities. The list of labels covered on this collection include some of the biggest names in blues of the 50's & 60's including DUKE- ALADDIN- COBRA- RCA- CHIEF & FEDERAL.................
