King Kolax, born William Little in 1912 is the subject of Jasmine's series of 'backroom boys of jazz, blues and R&B'. From early days he built himself a reputation as a trumpet player and bandleader. He recorded for many of the top labels in Chicago including CHESS/CHECKER- VEE JAY- & J.O.B. This collection shows his talents in many different settings with a number of great vocalists..........
