This is the first compilation ever produced on Chuck Norris' early recordings with many of the mainstays of early r&b. His career was mainly as an on call session player working with producer Maxwell Davis for some of the biggest West Coast recording companies including ALADDIN, SPECIALTY, IMPERIAL & MODERN. His smooth, jazz based solos on records by Floyd Dixon, Charles Brown, Dinah Washington & Litle Willie Littlefield are the definition of cool yet hot guitar. Norris only had 16 sides released under his own name of which 4 are included here. This is a gem of a release....don't miss it.
