Yank Rachell started out his career in the 1930s with such heavyweights as Sonny Boy Williamson #1, Sllepy John Estes & Hammie Nixon. In a career that spanned over 50 years his rough mandolin playing graced many early blues classics such as "She Caught The Katy" & "Cigarette Blues".............These sessions from 1986 find Yank in fine form, his voice and instrumental skills still strong and compelling on a set of mostly uptempo raw blues.............
