I don't often rave about a release, but this cd which came out originally in 1997 is special. Curtis Salgado has made a series of well recorded soulful records over the years but he has strayed away from the stripped down, gut bucket blues that he used to play with the Robert Cray Band. This cd is a well crafted lowdown blues release with strong singing, insightful lyrics and great sympathetic playing from Terry Robb & the band...........Of all Salgado's releases, this one is my favorite.....it is killer!!!!..........................
