On a recent performance, bassist Larry Lange introduced the LONELY KNIGHTS as playing a "slice of American Music from the San Antonio to Lafayette Louisiana axis" Influenced heavily by Fats Domino, this regional music was popular in the late 50's & early 60's with bands such as Sunny & The Sunglows, Cookie & The Cupcakes & Guitar Gable playing a highly danceable & unforgettable sound that the LONELY KNIGHTS recapture faithfully on this wonderful disc.
