This release from 2015 slipped through the cracks as Blind Pig ceased operations around this time. A solid band with strong vocals & songs, it features the velvet-voiced Nixon, whose singing recalls Jimmy Witherspoon and Billy Eckstine, was part of Nashville's thriving blues scene in the 60's. He was a longtime member of The New Imperials, recorded for Chess Records in the 70's and has performed with many of the top blues and R&B artists in the world.. Produced by ANSON FUNDERBURGH who plays on a numer of the tracks, it features backing from the TEXAS HORNS and special guset KIM WILSON............
