Playin Around is the fourth release in a set of albums documenting archive Eddie Hinton recordings. Comprising 20 previously unreleased tracks, including two rare live performances, PlayinAround extends from the period 1964/5 up to the live recordings from 1991. This new disc represents the culmination of Zane Records 15-year project to release all known archive recordings of the great Eddie Hinton. Hintons songs were recorded by an amazing array of soul, R&B and blues greats including Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack, Jon Hammond, Dusty Springfield and Percy Sledge.
