Blue All The Way was originally released through Minit Records in 1968. This is the first time the album has been available on CD. At Stateside, we have added a selection of bonus tracks, most of which were the singles released through the Sue and Veep labels, including the standout single "The Real Thing" (also recorde by The Chiffons in 1965), but 18 - 20 are previously unreleased anywhere. Tina Britt was one of Juggy Murray's favourite Sue Records artists and listening to this great selection of tracks it's easy to hear why that would be so. As with many female singers of the 60's, Britt didn't write her own songs, but recorded tracks by other great writers and musicians including God Bless The Child (by Billie Holliday), Johnny I Love You (by Booker T), My Lover's Prayer (by Otis Redding), Sookie Sookie (by Steve Cropper and Don Covay. 1.
