When the vinyl release of this came out in the mid-70's it was the first reissue of this amazing material. Taken from vinyl sources, it screamed and rocked with a raw vitality not heard on his later releases. Eventually ROUNDER leased some of these PEACOCK sides from master tapes but they did not have the same sonic quality that the RED LIGHTNIN had. Now available as a cd reissue this is a great introduction to the motherlode of post war Texas guitar............
