This 5th volume covers some of the fine shuffle boogie sides recorded in Los Angeles by HERB FISHER-- RED MACK & LUKE JONES which are favorites with the Jamaican sound system dancers of the 50's.........Also included are two sides by Texas boogie blaster GOREE CARTER who tears up the guitar on his sides recorded in 1951........Only one of these 25 tracks has ever been reissued before and 9 are being issued for the first time including an unissued side by JIMMY WITHERSPOON.......Highly informative notes- label shots & pictures accompany this massive boogie blast....I LOVE IT!!!!!..............
