This second volume of this jazz/blues guitarists work covers both sides of his playing.....from loud and racous to soft and sweet......The first eleven tracks are some of his finest recordings and feature BILL DOGGETT as well as a solid rhythm section that swings it's way through original versions of Big Boy- Glide On & Wishbone (a real smoker!!!).....The last dozen tracks come from the collaboration between Bill & Albert Jennings and is essentially a chamber jazz session featuring only guitar & vibes..........Very few if any of these sides have been reissued digitally and the sound quality is good to fair throughout.......All the tracks appear to come from vinyl sources..............
