This is one of the best modern funk bands in America. A refreshing breath of fresh air in an era of mediocrity. Absolutely killer funk grooves & a great singer! This release is the funkiest of her releases with "The Dap Dip" & "Ain't It Hard" favorites here. This release was the correction modern soul needed after a decade of disco beats & bad hair-dos.
