Blues/soul singer Roscoe Shelton started out in Nashville with the FAIRFIELD FOUR gospel group & went on to tour with Bobby Hebb, and fellow Nashville R&B singer Earl Gaines. He sits on the line where blues & soul intersect but his magnificent gospel infused vocals make any recording special. This 1990's era recording was produced by Fred James who spent lots of time recording & exposing the black artistry that flourished in Nashville.
